Hmmm… interesting.

I’m thinking of the “Kids movies” that my kids watch that are rated PG. I think the only issue I would have is the violence. Maybe this is some marketing ploy to get more parents to bring their pre-teen children to the theaters?

Well if it’s PG parents certainly ought to be able to bring the little kiddies in. Of course I see pletny of under-10-year-olds at TONS of PG-13 movies.

And “marketing ploy to get more parents to bring their pre-teen children to the theaters.” LOL.. of COURSE it is! :-D

LOL I only say that becasue I am reminded of the 6 year old boy who sat next to me the premier night of POTC3 (rated PG-13), constantly asking his mom questions about the movie from “Are they going to hang that little kid?” to “Wouldn’t he be dead if they cut out his heart?” Although he was dressed up with pirate garb, so I’ll give him credit for that.

I can’t think of a more confusing movie for a 6 year old than an inter-galactic space traveller preparing planets to be destroyed by his boss, until he crosses one of those planets protected by 4 genetically altered friends who try to protect said planet at any cost.

Personally I think a PG rating will bring in MORE of those 6 to 10 year-olds, and their questions during the movie. LOL

Parents, please bring muffles for the kiddies.

Vic you owe me a dollar.
And I have NO problem with a comic based film being rated PG. Not everything has to be Sin City for $#%@sake.

Vic says:

Kel,

LOL, I forgot where I made that bet and what it was for… :-)
