I saw the trailer for Merantau recently in the theaters. I think it would appeal to fans of action movies like Ong Bak and the like, being able to see a kind of martial arts style they’ve not been exposed to previously.

i’m sure the Silat that was in that movie (Merentau) is not a malaysian based martial arts. Indonesian have its own styles of Silat such as Pencak silat.
