Lionsgate has dropped a brand-new vertigo-inducing trailer for their forthcoming climbing thriller Fall, starring Shazam!'s Grace Caroline Currey. Currey is joined by a cast that includes Virginia Gardner, Mason Gooding, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan (The Walking Dead). Directed by Scott Mann, Fall revolves around best friends and thrill-seekers Becky (Currey) and Hunter (Gardner) as they attempt to push the limits by climbing a remote, abandoned radio tower. However, things turn for the worse when they reach the top of the tower and find themselves stranded with no way down.

In a brand-new trailer released by Lionsgate for Fall, the spotlight is put on the leading duo as they find themselves in a life-and-death situation. The trailer begins with Becky trying to recover from the death of her boyfriend after witnessing him fall in a mountain climbing accident. Nearly a year later, she is convinced by her best friend Hunter to "confront her fears" and climb a 2,000 feet-high TV tower in a remote location. Once the pair reach the top, panic sets in as they lose the ladder, forcing them into survival mode with limited resources. Check out the full trailer below:

Fall marks one of two projects scheduled to release in 2022 for Grace Caroline Currey, as the Annabelle: Creation actress is also set to appear in Shazam! 2. The film will be looking to have a similar impact as other films in the genre that pit humans against elements of nature, like Danny Boyle's 2010 film 127 Hours and 2013's Oscar-winning feature Gravity. While the film doesn't look like an awards season contender in the same vein as the titles mentioned above, the above-shown trailer promises moviegoers a competently-made adrenaline-fueled experience when Fall hits the big screen on August 12th.
