  1. Nice you guys delivered on a recap of the big news…

    • Glad it was useful. We definitely tried to make good on the news that got lost in the ‘Prometheus’ shuffle.

      • Yea appreciate it, i think Prometheus Podcast was definetly something that need more examining, on this podcast i like the idea for Wonder Woman except to say why can’t the Wonder Woman costume go through a progression like in most Origin stories start off more like battle gear say something out of Troy but with a female twist to it, then on to something more of a coronation/evening wear, then toward end she changes into more of New 52/classic costume with an explanation it being representational of who she fights for as in her heritage/crest as well as the colors of the flag…

        • Cash – That’s a cool idea for sure. Something more functional like the Captain America costume might ground the character enough to actually make it work.

  2. Oh yes!!!bring on venom!!!they can keep the justice league movie and just make a batman superman movie

  3. why not Aldis Hodge for Black Panther

    • Woah, Aldis Hodge could be great in that role. Good call.

    • Thats a good cool on Aldis Hodge I could see him in this role, I liked Gaius Charles aka Smash from Friday Night Lights he wasn’t too young or old plus he’s recognizable name without it too difficult to differentiate him from another iconic role but i definetly think Aldis Hodge would be top choice…

      • imo Gaius Charles would be good as The Falcon

  4. I´d like to see a Justice League movie where the heroes are not the same age….

    • Care to expand on why you don’t want them to be the same age?
(Not a sarcastic question. I’m just genuinely curios because this is the first time I’ve heard about this idea…)

      • @ The Avenger

Id like to voice my opinion on why the Justice League heroes shouldn’t all be the same age. It just seems silly really. Would kinda seem like that episode of season 5 of Smallville “Justice”. Personally id prefer Synder’s MOS to be it’s own universe just was it was intended like Nolan’s Batman trilogy.

    10)MEN IN BLACK 3

  6. Box Office
    1) Brave
    2) Prometheus
    3) Madagascar 3
    4) That’s My Boy
    5) Abraham Lincoln
    10) Rock of Ages

  7. Some of these new shows such as Last Resort & Zero Hour seem better as films than a series. How would you stretch Last Resort to past 13 episodes up to a full 24 episode full run? Submarine threat of the week?

    • Yah, a friend of mine was saying the exact same thing tonight over drinks.

  8. in Spider-Man 3 Topher Grace character Eddie Brock is actually Eddie Brock Jr. they used both 616 and Ultimate Venom/Eddie Brock Jr story. Eddie Brock Jr look in Ultimate universe is small not a bodybuilder in the 616 version of Eddie Brock we know. but they used 616 Venom story in Spider-Man 3.

    • Ah, that makes a bit more sense – I just want to see a full-on badass Venom. I’m hoping they introduce him in the next Spider-Man film and then spin him off. A solo film is premature at this point – since it’ll have to be a new origin story.

  9. Venom would work best as a villain in an Amazing Spider-Man sequel. You could make him the focus of the marketing campaign like the Joker in The Dark Knight.

    • Completely agree. I’m seeing the film on Tuesday and am really interested to see if there’s any Venom easter eggs/hints.

  10. I read that they were making a new avengers cartoon for Disney xd that would tie in to the marvel universe and the new recruit they had on there was the falcon…I wonder if they would ever approach that???

  11. Questions for the Podcast crew

Rob – Have you seen the 1990s Fantastic Four movie? It’s awesome. Better than the 90s Captain America.

Anthony – Which is better The Rescuers or Rescuers Down under? Also are you going to freeze a Taco Bell Doritos Taco and give it to Ben at comic con like you said a couple of episodes back? That would be amazing!!!!

Kofi – Would you rant or Rave about Memoirs of a Geisha? This is a serious question.

Ben – Is a glass of water half full or half empty? (You can’t say both LOL)

    • I’ll add this to our reader mail list!

    • I actually froze a Taco Bell Doritos Taco about 3 weeks ago. If I have fast food easily available, I tend not to crave it. I treat it like ketchup. Turns out that Taco Bell isn’t the best thing to freeze. Smells funky. Threw it away on Friday.

Haha.. I do not remember saying that I was going to bring Ben Taco Bell at Comic-Con, but we were planning on getting some In-N-Out on the way to the hotel. Those plans may have changed, but I’m going to double-double animal style, extra toast, chopped chilies, whole grilled onions, extra onions him at some point.
