If you do some research its very easy to see how all the information on any of the social websites Twitter Facebook, etc can be compromised. If you believe a gurantee of privacy means that your personal information is secure you probably believe North Korea hacked into the Federal database the other day as well. ;-)

These social sites will one day be used to catalog everyone into a general database. Your just making it easier for them. :-)

Been on Facebook over a year and had no problems.

I've gotten back in touch with a ton of old friends from college, high school, and even kindergarten. I now keep in far better touch with them all. That's the appeal.

And only friends can see your private stuff. If you've had problems, it's either somebody hacked into your account or a virus that hit you.

There WAS some commotion over Facebook claiming ownership to all the pictures posted on it, but that's been cleared up now - although personally it didn't bother me. I can see how it could be a problem for people who post up very embarrassing pictures of themselves from parties or whatever - but that's their own fault to begin with.

[...] When news of a Facebook movie surfaced almost a year ago, many in the film blogging community rolled their eyes. As if it weren’t bad enough that Hollywood was churning out nothing but sequels and remakes of 80’s movies, now they’re giving us a movie based on social networking? What would be next, Twitter: The Movie? Despite the fact that award-winning screenwriter Aaron Sorkin was penning the script, many questioned the movie’s potential. Of course, that was before they knew that David Fincher (Fight Club, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) was on board to direct. Now, all of a sudden, the Facebook movie (which is actually titled The Social Network) is beginning to look a lot more interesting, especially when you know a little more about the story. more [...]

The film looks amazing??? LOL.
Hey how was "America's Got Talent" last night??
I missed it...
(Holy crap)
^
Concerning the real Facebook, I've heard from more than one person that they have had privacy issues and identity problems with that service. I don't understand why anyone subscribes to that social community or any of them.
(IMO), your just begging for problems on all those Twitter, Facebook, Myspace, services. I seriously don't get the attraction at all.
