star trek enterprise1 Two More Star Trek TV Spots

We’re a mere few weeks away from the rebirth of long-lived sci-fi franchise and we’re seeing plenty of marketing as we wind down to that day.  Part of that are a pair of new Star Trek television spots that have recently appeared online and both are awesome.

Many of the scenes from the trailers are being re-hashed for the TV spots so far but these two teasers emphasize the action and epicness of the story while drastically raising the adrenaline level.

Star Trek is directed by J.J. Abrams and written by Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman. It stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Bruce Greenwood, Karl Urban, Simon Pegg, John Cho, Anton Yelchin, Zoe Saldana, Eric Bana, Winona Ryder, Ben Cross and last but not least, Leonard Nimoy.

Check them out and see what you think:

If that’s not enough to fill your Trek craving today, check out these other two Star Trek clips that introduce Dr. McCoy and hint at the “dynamic” relationship between young Kirk and Spock.

What do you think of the videos and will you be seeing this opening weekend?

Star Trek now opens on May 7th and I’ll be there.

It’s going to be a drive of more than an hour, but I’m seeing this in an IMAX theater!

I think that Star Trek will be a worthy first IMAX experience. I’m looking forward to the IMAX almost as much as the movie.

  4. This movie did a great job turning everyone around to its side.

Even I was slightly concerned about it back in the day, but I’m convinced it’ll be a fun ride no matter what. The last batch of videos we’ve seen for this have all been awesome.
