A Gotham Fairytale
"A Gotham Fairytale" is my original Batman story done as an animatic set to Muse's "Knights of Cydonia." Composed of over 200 black and white illustrations, it depicts the dark imagination of a little girl as she's listening to her grandmother tell her a bedtime fairytale.

  1. Yeah, but Superman without sun is not normal guy, but 150 kg musculated giant with a lot of experiences and strong mind.

    • You know that’s exactly what Batman is, right? Except, more intelligent, and a ninja.

      • Pre- new 52 Superman was a master of a Kryptonian form of martial arts.

Also if Bruce wayne didn’t have his money he likely would not have been able to travel the world and learn all the fighting techniques and tactics he uses as Batman.

        • I didn’t know the guy from Kung Fu was a multi-billionaire either. I just thought Carradine was wandering the Earth with just the clothes on his back, penniless. Silly me, eh?

          • realistically in this day and age you aren’t going anywhere for free unless you’re walking, awfully diffuclt crossing an ocean with nothing but the clothes on your back.

  2. Spreading the links out over 3-4 pages was bad enough, but the gallery option is completely unnecessary. Please switch back to the other layout.

    • Wow, yeah, it definitely wasn’t a gallery an hour ago.

    • Signed. Hate it.

    • Agreed. This is supremely annoying.

    • Agreed, maybe not quite as much as you put it across but was just about to post something along the same lines. I’d much rather the old format.

  3. Please go back to the one-page format.

  4. Love the scarecrow

  5. You can consider this experiment dead :-)

    • I enjoyed the gallery format. It would work for the Geek Picks as long as Justin doesn’t post 20 or more entries.

    • Thank you. I’d hate to have to click through all the stuff that I don’t care about. It was much easier to just scroll down.

  6. Agreed, the one page format is the best. Everytime I read this I scroll down to select all pages, if you’ve moved to a gallery format I won’t read anymore

  7. I’m pretty sure Iron Man’s armor is resistant to EMP. I mean, even current military electronics are shielded against EMP. I’m pretty sure Tony Stark would have thought of that…

    • And Bruce Wayne would have thought of a way to penetrate that, and Tony Stark would have blocked that, then Bruce Wayne would..

      It’s a silly argument.

  8. Hey Screenrant, I appreciate the new way you have formatted Geek Picks this week as a slideshow type thing. Good way to do it! That is all…
