Ray Donovan star Eddie Marsan is the latest exciting addition to the growing cast of 20th Century Fox's Deadpool 2. Where the first Deadpool mostly focused on bringing the Merc with a Mouth to life on the big screen in a faithful, entertaining way, next year's sequel is shaping up to be a much bigger film in almost every regard. Not only will it feature the returns of already established characters like Ryan Reynolds' Wade Wilson, T.J. Miller as Weasel, Colossus (Stefan Kapicic), and more, but will be introducing an array of exciting new comic book characters into the mix for the first time. The most notable new additions being, of course, Josh Brolin's time-traveling Cable and Zazie Beetz's extremely lucky, Domino.

But to the credit of everyone involved in Deadpool 2 , the film has done a good job at bringing in promising new cast members, who might not necessarily be playing the same kind of iconic characters that Brolin and Beetz are. That includes Hunt for the Wilderpeople's breakout star, Julian Dennison in an unknown role and Jack Kesy, as a villain in the film, and who is rumored to be playing Black Tom Cassidy.

Now, it looks like director David Leitch will be reuniting with one of his Atomic Blonde stars on the highly-anticipated superhero sequel. Through his official Twitter account today, Marsan revealed that he is also set to have a role in the film, though, the actor did not divulge any details about who he would play, or what size role he has. Check out Marsan's tweet for yourself down below:

It's hard to even speculate on who Marsan could be playing in the film, considering just how little is actually known about Deadpool 2's story at this point. That's not to mention the diverse number of roles that Marsan has played throughout his career, with a history of playing both villains and heroes, making it that much harder to pin down what his overall role in Deadpool 2 might be. Based on this tweet, though, it feels fair to say that at the very least, Marsan is about as happy as could be to have a part of some kind in the film.

He's just the latest in a long line of promising creative talent that's been assembled for the superhero sequel, some of whom are involved in front of the cameras, and others behind it. Not only did the film replace original director Tim Miller with an exciting choice like David Leitch, but the project even brought on a fan-favorite screenwriter like Drew Goddard to help on the film's script a couple months before it went into production. And with the film set to be one of three different X-Men-related titles being released by 20th Century Fox next year, Deadpool 2 has all the makings right now of being yet another successful superhero outing from Fox.
