The hype and talk about the second Twilight movie, New Moon, has hardly died down and yet here we are in the midst of the hype for the third film, Eclipse.
We’ve already given you some looks at the film in the form of the Eclipse official trailer, a sneak peek video and a clip. Now we have three brand new images from the movie to add to that.
For those of you who haven’t read the Twilight books numerous times and want reminding what Eclipse is about, here’s the plot synopsis:
Bella (Kristen Stewart) once again finds herself surrounded by danger as Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Jacob (Taylor Lautner) — knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella is confronted with the most important decision of her life.

Nothing too exciting but I’m sure it’s more than enough to get you Twilighters discussing what context these images are taken out of…
I’m not exactly the world’s biggest Twilight fan, but I’m actually sort of looking forward to Eclipse – even if I disliked New Moon. I’m hoping there’s more action this time around and I’m keen to see what David Slade (Hard Candy, 30 Days of Night) has done with the franchise.
Thoughts on the new Eclipse promo images? Are you looking forward to the movie or are you ready to rant once again about how Twilight sucks (get it)?
The Twilight Saga: Eclipse hits theaters on June 30th, 2010.

My wife told me in the book Jacob is suppose to be like 6'7 or something. Taylor is clearly not that tall lol
Yeah b/c of literary characters translated to film MUST look JUST like their fictional counterparts. Oh wait that's not true at all! I can't stand when people get so picky. It's like come on! It's a movie of the book. It's not going to be exactly the same. IT'S NOT POSSIBLE!!!
wow relax I wasn't impying that I was upset or mad about it. Just thought it was funny. I never read the books or a “Huge” twilight fan. I said my wife told me that.
LOL. Didn't mean to sound that mean. I just get annoyed when people who enjoy a book and it gets made into a movie get all bent about a character not being exactly what they wanted. It's silly. SORRY!
Very surprised nobody is shirtless in these pics.
I love twighlight. Go team Jacob
