Yeah that weird Matrix-vibe caught me too, at least in the beginning. The phone, the amount of guns/items in the room, the police room. But than it turned a bit more to The Game for me, with the “missions” they had to do. And to end it was sort of a Die Hard: With a Vengeance with the whole “it’s a decoy”-thing going on.

I will see this one I guess, but not as first pick.

Funny how you say it reminded you of the Matrix. Not only does it have thematic elements, it has nearly identical shot composition in a few, not to mention it looks to have been color corrected to look like the Matrix. Of course now I want to see it… I hope DJ Caruso’s directing is more like Salton Sea and less like disturbia.

Am I mistaken or was it not you Vic that coined the phrase “Tarzan Lebeouf” in your Indy review? Cuz I told people I knew about it and its become very popular amongst my friends and I.
