Due Date new poster5 New Trailer & Five New Posters for Due Date

Warner Bros. has released a brand new trailer and a set of five posters for the forthcoming “buddy” road-trip comedy Due Date, starring odd pair Robert Downey Jr. and Zach Galifianakis.

Due Date comes to us courtesy of director and co-writer Todd Phillips, director of the surprise hit The Hangover. That movie took a cliched plot (bunch of guys getting wild in Vegas) and managed to make it truly refreshing and funny.

Hopefully the same can be done with Due Date, which also has a rather clichéd premise – i.e. ordinary guy forced to take a road trip with a strange, quirky and often annoying individual. This new trailer for the film makes it look just as funny as the previous trailer. Check out the new Due Date trailer below:

“Dad… you were like a father to me.”

It may just be clever advertising, but if the movie is as funny as it looks and delivers even more great quotable lines than are shown in the trailers (quotability is a mark of all great comedies), then we may very well have a new Hangover on our hands. Truly funny comedies are few and far between these days, but hopefully Phillips can deliver another one with his first film since The Hangover.

Along with the trailer, we also have five new Due Date posters for your viewing pleasure:

Alongside Downey Jr. and Galifianakis, Due Date co-stars Jamie Foxx, Michelle Monaghan, Juliette Lewis, Danny McBride, RZA and Alan Arkin. The great cast and simple fact that this film looks genuinely hilarious puts it very much of my 2010 Fall Movie “must-see” list.

Due Date arrives in theaters on November 5th, 2010.

  1. Oh my god LMAO ROFL!!!!! I HAVE to see this!

  2. Wow, I was unimpressed with the first trailer, and The Hangover, but this convinced me that the film is worth a look!

I just hope that “Check Yourself before You Wreck Yourself” doesn’t become famous.

  3. Thats actually a funny line.

    • When The Hangover was released, a bunch of classmates kept repeating every single line from the Hangover, so I’m just scared that I’m going to be hearing every single line from Due Date in college. The same thing happened during elementary school when Napolean Dynamite was released.

  4. Jose
It will happen trust me lol!

    • I know it will and I will be annoyed.
At least that won’t stop me from (possibly) enjoying the movie.

  5. Jose
    just ignore em.

  6. Okay, after watching this trailer … I’m definitely there for this one. :D

  7. Yeah this is a ripoff of “Planes Trains, and Automobiles”

    Enjoy the new flavor,,,

    • What, just because it has every single plot element in common with “Planes, Trains and Automobiles”? Well, not really, in that, Steve Martins wife wasnt pregnant… but that’s all you get for differences… :P

However, gotta say, this doesn’t look too bad. Looks like a fun remake of an already great film.

  8. This movie looks hilarious. I love RDJ.

  9. This trailers attached to devil lol!

  10. this trailer is so much better than the first one!
