It would make sense that Dollhouse would join Whedons other TV series in the comics universe.
Who knows ?
Maybe they will actually use the comic to EXPLAIN THE SHOW!

Gary, I think these sites will start explaining things for sure. If you dig around the ROSSUM site, you’ll see what I mean… there’s things there that lend themselves to what helped create the Dollhouse.

Ah viral marketing. It’s always intrigued me, but never engrossed me. I’ve had a little dig around about some of those sites, but the only people I can find who know the pass code to that site won’t say and I don’t care enough to find out.

Still, too little to late it seems. If there’s a comic, I may or may not buy it, but if the show ends in a satisfying way like Joss has promised, I won’t be clamouring to read it.

That said, the follow up comics for Buffy and Angel are pretty cool, incredibly different from the shows, but they really just seem like Joss has finally gotten complete creative control (not hindered by studios or TV budgets, I mean it doesn’t cost much more to draw a huge monster and then draw Buffy doing wild physics defying actions, but try and film it and suddenly people look at you with judgemental dollar-sign eyes). But if you’ve watched the shows all the way through, they’re not essential reading, just nice little additions.

Bruce ,
I think the show could have surived if the Dollhouse was destroyed from within, and the forces behind its creation would fight back and then we would learn more about the origins of the organization.
Shake it up and peel back the onion .
It seems simple to me.

Joss has already said publicly that Dollhouse will probably become a comic.

AH hA! Thanks Elijah… I had never heard that up until now.

Jeff-TVQC: Cool.

Also, the Username is 69B & the Password is 478 over at Wipe The Future.

Doesn’t give us much but a name that leads us to Spectrin.com…

I think all these viral sites are short lived because the domain names are set to expire at various times throughout 2010.

Good info team!

Ah ha! Up until October, Joss Whedon and others were saying no comic, but in October Joss said “… there’s a chance.”

Kudos to Elijah for pointing me in the right direction on this one.

I’m leaning towards yes. Multiple websites, interesting twitter accounts all seems like an interesting game or puzzle, and I know Screen Rant readers love puzzles!
