Doctor Strange in the Multiverse fan art imagines Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) conjuring Chris Evans' Human Torch from the multiverse. There have been rumors that the Sam Raimi-directed film will feature a string of cameos from Fox's Marvel catalog, which includes the Fantastic Four. Despite not having any concrete indication that this could come to fruition, one digital artist was inspired by it and created a new illustration.

Marvel Studios has done a great done keeping plot specifics for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness under wraps. Unlike a lot of other high-profile films, it was able to go through principal photography and then additional reshoots without any major on-set content leaking its way online. The movie's not immune to rumors, however. Between what's known about the film thus far and how Spider-Man: No Way Home wrapped up, some are convinced that the sequel will be a game-changer in the MCU in more ways than one. With the movie delving deep into the multiverse, the much-anticipated blockbuster could also feature several surprise cameos.

AGT Design on Instagram was inspired by this idea. The artist could have gone with one of the X-Men, who have long been rumored to soon appear in the MCU, but instead, the digital creator opted to bring Evans' old Fantastic Four character into the fold. In the Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness artwork, Strange conjures up the Human Torch in the Sanctum Sanctorum with Wong (Benedict Wong) watching in the background. Check it out below:

Evans is more well known for playing Steve Rogers/Captain America, but before Kevin Feige even kicked off the MCU in 2008 with Robert Downey Jr. and Jon Favreau's Iron Man, Evans was a member of the Fantastic Four. The actor played Johnny Storm in Fox's first modern attempt to bring Marvel's First Family to the big screen in 2005's Fantastic Four and again in 2007's Fantastic Four: Rise of Silver Surfer. In fact, Evans nearly refused the role of the Star-Spangled Avenger because he didn't have much fun working on the previous superhero movies. Luckily, he eventually changed his mind.

As much fun as it would be to see, it's unlikely this fan art will actually come to fruition, especially with Evans' run as Cap complicating matters. While Evans' Human Torch may not pop up in the MCU film, that doesn't mean that it won't feature other Fantastic Four members. There have also been rumors that John Krasinski as Reed Richards might appear, which would effectively give fans their long-clamored-for casting wish. Aside from him, there's additional speculation that the sequel will include appearances from variants of other franchise heroes, which makes sense since it will see Doctor Strange exploring an infinite number of parallel worlds in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
