I, too was surprised like (General). This holds promise:

This trailer disappoints me on two and a half levels. First, there’s at least one mechanoid. They are a long since cheesy CGI prop and I’m effing sick of them (Terminator and Transformers).

Also, it’s apparent that the face-sprayed guy somehow turns into a monster of some sort. The actual scene is predictable–who didn’t know that soon (as in 1 second) that the dude saying “it’s sure not a weapon” would be proved wrong? Oh geez, not another man-into-monster story.

The 1/2 disappointment is that they revealed this crucial scene, which looks to be a major turning point for the character and possibly the film.

I’m growing increasingly upset at trailers that vomit up what ought to be protected turning points to movies. Sure, I could predict that the spray guy would eat his words–but do I have to see it before even seeing the movie?

It seems the the new trailers look like it’s veering away from the traditional documentary style of story telling for a little more of an action theme.That being said,it looks really good.I think what another poster said could be correct,that this could be the sleeper hit of the summer.

I’m really looking forward to this movie,it should be really good.

I love the way Peter Jackson used the first teaser trailer to make it look as if the aliens were invading earth and using their weapon technology to cause mayhem on our planet.

Now, after watching this trailer, it seems that we are the ones holding THEM captive and trying to steal their advanced technology for our own uses!

I think Peter did an amazing job with these two trailers and really threw us all for a loop…or just me at least! Can’t wait to see it!!!

the first trailer i saw didn’t really give you much, but this one is better. the movie looks like it has alot of potential. i might wait to read a review before i see it though.

Although the movie looks to be spectacular, I must say I am a bit disappointed by them revealing all of the action. It tells that either this will end up baing another “Transformers” style action movie posing as an intelligent sci-fi concept film, or it will be a very intelligent sci-fi concept films that charades as a Transformers sequel in order to attract millions of viewers who will then walk away extremely disappointed!

I still say this will be the sleeper hit of the Summer. For the past year and a half I have antcipated this film. Mr. Jackson will promote this at Comic-Con and if your a fan of “Alive in Johansberg” you cannot miss this! Looks bloody Brilliant!

1st trailer was great at generating interest. Trailers/posters/ etc. are great. They’re all over the benches in my neighborhood.

This trailer blew me away though. Finally something original. Action looks great and really interesting.

Read a couple of reviews on the short films from this director and they’re all positive, saying he has a great “feel” for where the camera should be, etc.

I’m very excited for this one.

Seen the new trailer, it looks ok but it looks more action-y than the first trailer made it seem.
I was expecting more of a political/social mockumentary thing.
Less action, more INTERaction. Eh? EH??

I wouldnt really call the short film part of the viral,
it definitely adds to the experience because its what the movie is based on and where it all began.
This movie will be epic!!
in a way ive been waiting for this ever since the i first saw the short film a few years ago!

The movie looks incredibly promising. I think it’s possible that this film will provide an experience that is unique for audiences. I am so excited to see something DIFFERENT!
