I have the first two seasons of the Muppets TV show on DVD and they are hilarious!! Beaker, Dr. Bunsen Honeydew, Swedish Chef, Animal, Zoot, Gonzo, Lew Zealand, Waldorf & Statler..they crack me up!!

I would definitely see another Muppet movie. I love the muppets! They should leave everything the way it is and make sure they have all of the favorites there including Animal and Sweetums!!

I personally can’t stand the muppets never liked them. So not really looking forward to it. I love Jason Segal though the guy is brilliant.

They should add muppets lets get some Marvel muppets up in there lol. It is Disney

First of all, the actual plot of the “Cheapest Muppet blah blah blah” is based on an idea Jim Henson had years ago and abandoned (which should tell you something): Gonzo films a Muppet movie but blows the entire budget on the opening sequence. Which is why the rest of film is done with shadow puppets on sticks (as opposed to muppets whose arms are on sticks. I’m not making that up, at least not the first part. Gonzo blows budget, rest of movie done on cheap. Ha ha!)

Secondly, who the hell needs another Muppet movie? We’ve got Pixar, Dreamworks, Shrek, Toy Story, Incredibles, Madagascar, etc. etc. I predict that this will be a massive fail. Most people (those who aren’t weenies or nostalgia addicts) are indifferent to Muppets and today’s kids, exposed to the wonders of full-body 3D characters who have actual legs and can been seen walking with them, could not care less.

Again: MASSIVE FAIL.

There is muppet canon, lol? Sorry, it just seems out of place in this context for some reason. It makes sense, but I’ve never thought of the muppets that way. I guess I’m just used to it being an established Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Comic Book, Biblical thing.

I think they should stick to the tried-and-true characters that have long been established in Muppet canon.

With so many primary and secondary characters to choose from, why add more? The Muppets are timeless, and very little should be done to “update” them.
