Idiots huh?..You all went to see the first one, you’ve now seen the second one….and we all know you will go see the third one and every other one Bay makes. You’re paying him to make more which is all I care about since I really liked both movies. You must like watching them, you just like bellyacheing about them more. That’s apparently your real love in life. But thats ok. I go to see these movies to get away from reality for a few hours. I mean it’s transformers…if you are expecting Oscar performances then there’s the real idiocy. Take a hint cry babies…just go watch it to have fun, forget about rather the dialog was realistic or the plot was perfect. Just go watch a bunch of giant robotss kick each others asses for Christ sake!

ive stated this before, transformers isnt really our generations anymore. Its moreso for the kids who still watch the crappy dumb different takes on the show today.
AND yes maybe megan fox is the only thing left for us ole diehards who bought the first toys.
i had a theater with a lot of young kids and they actually all clapped at the end.
Seriously though. Transformers robots in disguise that feed of energon and come from cybertron who will fight with unicron and some how sam witwicky and gang isnt instantly crushed. LMAO if you cant enjoy a movie with said parameters and then you feel the need to complain. AHAHA are You serious. just enjoy it for what it is.

someone will say “Don’t see, horrible, made me gag” someone else will say “loved it” someone will say “Oscar’s an idiot”… why. i don’t know, because they have nothing better to do but sit at their computers and complain about stuff.

but was the movie really that bad? i thought it looked awesome.
well i just got out of the theater after three hours of intense mechanized action …well at least for the most part. the movie was long, no too long for a healthy film fix but i guess there were reasons for its length as far as the story telling was concerned. the plot was really so “plainly complex”, with this i mean that the length of the film was there just for the simple purpose of building the excitement for the big battles. there were also too many comic insertions by the characters, which i felt was unnecessary. but, being an 80′s kid and growing up worshiping optimus prime, i have to admit there was enjoyment in the film. mainly because of the autobots really giving the decepticons some serious butt kicking! all hail Optimus! in short, the second movie’s appeal is just a result of the deficiencies of the first film. at least the writer/s kept the fans in mind in this second installment. its an average film as far as im concerned. if you are not a transformers fan, or at least of heavy special effects, 3 hours sitting in a theater is too much time to waste. if you are a fan of the series, then i would not discourage you from watching……
This films is a huge disappointing, but no doubt it’ll make tons of money. The action was again the same as before, and I mean, people couldn’t see what was going on, or it was hardly to. I actually got kinda bored in one or two of them. The plot itself was really predictable, and the “epicness” and “mythology” they tried to make out of it was not well done. The dialogue was terrible, except for a couple of lines. Sadly, I did not liked the humor as I did with the first one, I think it was sometimes annoying, and only several times it did made me laugh… a little. The problem is that Bay just throw a bunch of effects and acton scenes so that you can’t really pay attention to the rest. So yeah, the effects and the sound are outstanding, and people will get thrown to theatres for the visuals, but really, it doesn’t deliver anything else. As a summer blockbuster, it may achieve its goal, but as a sci-fi/action film I’d rather stay with Star Trek, whcih is much more entertaining and, generally, much, much better. Oh, BTW, did I mention the “title character” sucks? Yes, it does. Oh, and remember Arcee, the female autobot? Well, you’ll see how well she is. But anyways, a big applause to Mr Bay, who managed to give testicles to the robots.
…just wanna add, like rich, i do like it. he’s right, no matter what we say it just aint our generation anymore
I loved it. The mild humor, the action, and of course megan was real hot. All the new bots were awesome. I cant see why alot of you hate it. I loved it, the entire theater applauded after it was over. I will see it again, and in IMAX.
I haven’t seen the movie yet and don’t care if I read spoilers because it looks like the only reason to see this is for the effects and action. I have a few question though:
1. How does Megatron get revived
2. Do they give hints to Unicron
3. Where did Starscream go at the end of the first movie
Yeah Kahless you actually need a plot to have spoilers. Lol,,, there’s really no tension or drama when a robot is killed. They’ll just all spark him back for the next film.
Okayy, so i liked it, but its not how i expected it to be, i thought they was going to show Soundwave alot more, other than bein a giant Satellite in space… they didnt have to kill the audi off like that.. they couldve atleast had him fight back for atleast 2 minutes or something… And i thought they were going to bring back Barricade? The mustang…. And they couldnt bring jazz back since all the decepticons got revived?..thats dumb.. and how did that big o decepticon devastator, climblin upp pyramids not kill nobody.. soo yea… thats mainly the only things i wass pissed off at.. other than that.. ii loved it. LOL

@ ken x. My god, the entire theatre applauded? Are you serious? In mine, everyone left right after the film finished, as if they had been waiting for it to end for a long time. I
I saw it in IMAX. Believe me, it’s the only thing that’s worthy of the film, and that’s saying. But no way I’m watching it again, not even in DVD or Blu-Ray.
BTW, does anyone knows what happened to Wheelie (or however he was called)? I think the last of him I saw was when Jetfire teleported the guys to Egypt, otherwise, I must have yawned…
I know Vic will blast the movie but who cares? The comedy was actually funny and better than the first movie humor. The action was incredible and the CGI was brilliant. Prime is the man and the Fallen was badass!
that giant peice of the cube that the decepticons stole, when they revived megatron and gav him new parts.. i guess they did the same to the other decepticons that died..
no tension or drama? the theater was silent a couple times especially at the end of the forest scene was Prime was killed and when Sam almost dies. people were sad for them.

The movie had toilet humor and wasn’t enjoyable if you were a fan of the original transformers. Megan Fox was just in the movie to get more people to see it….. Comedy of the year
Theirs no tension in the movie when characters die. Oh Sam almost dies it was bull crap because they would never kill him. The action looked okay but all of the decepticons and autobots looked poorly made and there colors were jumbled together. It’s going to make a lot of money even if you hated it and there’s going to be a 3rd one I just cant believe Bay is ruining another child hood memory of mine.
it was……….ok. The film did have A LOT of toilet/sexual humor that got old very quickly. Sometime it seemed there was too much “transforming” going on to see what was actually happening. The special FX were GREAT, the sound was awesome. Overall a good summer film, expect a part 3.

HUGE PLOT HOLE:
The Decepticons bring Megatron back by smacking him with a cube shard.
Sam and Mikeala have a cube shard locked in a safe the whole movie and NOBODY thinks to break it out and hit Optimus with it? They have to go running around EGYPT to search for a “matrix” to bring him back???
LOL’ing at stupid writing. I like this franchise, I do, but jeez…
visually fantastic in IMAX….but Bay was all over the place and the “Twins” were just lame. I was wondering if the inept Seth Rogen was writing the jokes. And again with the Aircraft carrier tease Mr. Bay,….. twice is enough.
