I tried trying to find a trailer but no one as one yet, their website isnt even up yet. However i did find a lot of interesting pics of the cannibal victims and i have to say they look pretty f***** up lol, I think thats the nicest way i can put it

The book was a phenomenal read! So dark and relentless in its hopelessness that you actually felt as though you were slogging through the wasteland with them. It has its moments of nightmarish horror as well. As far as I know, this movie is slated for a mid to late November release…anyone seen a trailer???? all there is are 5-6 pics floating around. they really should be drumming up major marketing considering McCarthy’s “No Country” winning best pic last year! this movie will only be a blip on the radar when it could be another best pic contender!

The story is actually set in America, it’s mentioned in the synopsis at the beginning of the book. And as for the whole baby eating thing, the book doesn’t actually depict anyone killing or eating a baby, but the father and son do find an abandoned campsite with a headless infant corpse cooking on a spit over an open fire. Presumably it was stillborn. Can’t wait to see the film.

Im unsure how i will handle the cannible part. Blood and inside organs and murders i can deal with… baby eaters on the other hand i might be the one running out of the theater makeing sure i dont puke up my popcorn, guess I wont eat anything before i see that lol

INK, have you read this novel ??
Its like Swan Song without Swan… There’s no happy ending here.
Its a bleak story of a broken human race, with very little hope…

If they capture the essence of the book, the film will cause many a sleepless night.
forget about Jason or Freddy,,, this could be the most disturbing film since,,, (Henry, Portrait of a Serial Killer), in its realism…

And if you havnt seen HPOASK, don’t I hated that film because it was too real and disturbing. (Even I have limits)

The book isn’t necessarily set in the USA. Its more of a where is this country, not one mention of a country but of a war
