  1. oh man was A good day to die hard a horrible movie. was so bad even joel schumaker (bad spelling) came out and apologized for ruining the franchise before realizing he didnt even direct it.

    • I saw it recently and honestly liked it. It was far better than that mess of a 4th movie.

        Ok, I won’t argue with you for liking Good Day to Die Hard (I thought it was OK) but Live Free was great! Certainty felt like a more traditional Die Hard film than Good Day. Better acting, directing, action, drama… yeah, Live Free or Die Hard was much better. A Good Day to Die Hard had it’s moments as a dumb little action movie with Bruce Willis. But as a Die Hard film? Nah.

  4. Live Free or Die Hard was a decent generic action movie. It was also a terrible Die Hard movie. These movies keep getting more outlandish than the last. He’s in a building – he’s in a whole airport – he’s in all of NYC – he’s in the tri-state area – now he’s traveled to Russia. The next one really needs to take it back to basics. Put him on a boat or even in another building… something more grounded.

    • I see your point, but John McClane is at least the same John McClane in Live Free (uncensored version, at least). In A Good Day, he was just Bruce Willis in another stupid action movie to get a pay check. He seemed like a completely different character! He just didn’t have the charisma (or good dialogue) he had in the first four movies. Maybe age really is catching up to him…

  5. The film doesn´t even take place in Russia. It was mostly filmed in Budapest and Serbia.

  8. Post called “Geek Picks”…Gaming known for being “geeky”…Late Night host has a week of video game related videos, yet people can’t figure out why things are posted? Don’t worry, its over now. I’m sure it’ll be back to random cakes and Star Wars cookies soon enough lol.
