Yesterday word spread on the internets that the final (half) season of Battlestar Galactica might be delayed even longer than we thought. The word was that the series finale would not air until June 2009, meaning that the season would not begin until April - instead of January as was the expectation.
Well today comes word directly from the Sci Fi Channel (the station that airs Battlestar Galactica) the the show will NOT be delayed and WILL premiere this upcoming January 2009.
So no fear, BSG fans, you won’t have to wait almost a full year to see how it all ends.

I had not heard these rumors, ButI am glad they are not true.
Maybe SciFi should air only one episode a year, that would last those cheapskates until 2018!
The longer they stall the more momentum they’ll lose.

Did they already announce that they were doing that?
I don’t have any knowledge but it seems like they would do that.
They know the fans are gonna buy the dvds. They allready have one season in the can, I bet they release the 4.1 season first, and then a special final half of the season with prob an extended cut of the finale.
