20th Century Fox isn't slowing down its Marvel movie output anytime soon, having now locked in six more Marvel film release dates. Out of all of the companies that bought rights to Marvel characters, Fox seems to have made the most of their purchase. While Sony's Spider-Man films have certainly earned them money, it's been a while since they've gained any acclaim. Ironically, their most acclaimed Spidey film to date may well prove to be the one overseen by Marvel Studios. Meanwhile, virtually every other studio has given up the rights to their Marvel characters. Fox, on the other hand, have been building out a universe of their own.

While many Marvel fans would likely love for the MCU to gain all of its characters, it's hard to argue with the fact that Fox's properties have allowed more heroes and villains to come to the big screen. And though the X-Men films have been met with mixed reactions, the studio is on a roll lately with the smash hits Deadpool and Logan. Following that success, next year will see them put out three new Marvel films: New MutantsDeadpool 2, and X-Men: Dark Phoenix. Now, it looks like they have even more plans on the horizon.

Exhibitor Relations has just announced that Fox has locked in 6 new Marvel film dates beyond their 2018 slate. 6/7/19, 11/22/19, 3/13/20, 6/26/20,10/2/20 and 3/5/21 will all see Fox bring their batch of Marvel characters to the big screen, though no details beyond that have been confirmed yet.

Marvel Now Cable X-Force wanted

While the release of superhero movie premiere dates usually leads to broad speculation, there's actually a good amount of evidence for what these films might be. The two films most likely to land in 2019 are X-Force and Gambit. Both have been talked about for years, and Deadpool 2 is said to set-up X-Force. With characters like Domino and Cable included in next year's Deadpool sequel, it seems safe to assume X-Force will follow close behind.

Gambit, meanwhile, has gone through a number of shake-ups. It's had its release date pushed and lost multiple directors, but it still seems to be moving forward. 2019 gives Fox another year to get things in order, allowing them to start filming Gambit in 2018.

The 2020 spots, meanwhile, parallel the three films coming next year. Given the two year gap and the similar placement of dates, there's a good chance Deadpool 3New Mutants 2, and a follow-up to Dark Phoenix will fill those slots. Even if New Mutants doesn't pan out, a sequel to Deadpool and a new core X-Men movie are all but guaranteed.

The 2021 date is the most up in the air. There's a good chance Fox are just holding it in case Gambit or X-Force warrant a sequel. There's also a chance that it's a spinoff film, with an X-23 solo movie being one such possibility. After Dafne Keen impressed in Logan, a few more years of growth as a performer would make 2021 the perfect spot for a solo film. If not her, then any number of other established or upcoming characters could take the spot.

Another possibility is yet another Fantastic Four movie. We've heard rumors that yet another F4 reboot is in development, but we're not holding our breath. Still, Fox owns a number of other characters within that pantheon that could get their own film, such as Silver Surfer. That being said, the odds are that the majority of these six films will either be sequels or new projects that we've already heard about.
