Ryan Reynolds' Wade Wilson and Zazie Beetz's Domino have been spotted sharing a laugh on the set of Deadpool 2. The second movie to center on Marvel’s ‘Merc With A Mouth’ is filming now in Vancouver. Parachuting was on the agenda for Reynolds just the other day, with Beetz joining in on the Deadpool 2 action shortly thereafter.

If you’re unfamiliar; the character of Domino was created by Rob Liefeld (the same fellow who created the Deadpool character). Much like Wade, she’s a very adept contract killer. Plus, she has the power to alter probability in her favor. Soon after the first photo of Beetz as the live-action version of Domino was revealed, Liefeld shared the first Domino sketch he ever drew of the character. The likeness is really striking.

Now, with the aforementioned announcements and early stunt work out of the way, Reynolds and Beetz look to be having a rather jolly time on the set. The Daily Mail has posted some smiley set snaps of the pair online, as you can from the Tweet below. (Click the link for additional Deadpool 2 set photos.)

In addition to showing Reynolds and Beetz sharing a chuckle, these images offer a more detailed look at Beetz’s costume, as well as a picture of her stunt double on a motorbike. There are also some slightly less exciting images, showing Reynolds fiddling around with his Deadpool mask.

Atlanta alum Beetz isn’t the only new addition to the cast for the sequel to 2016’s Deadpool. Josh Brolin is playing the time-travelling Cable, who was teased in the original film’s post-credits scene. Brolin's take on the character is ‘epic’, according to Reynolds, and director David Leitch (John Wick) ‘couldn’t be happier’ with Brolin’s performance. Even with these new characters vying for attention, there’s no need to worry about the gag count, it would seem. Brolin has said that Deadpool 2 is funnier than the first, and costar T.J. Miller has echoed that sentiment.

As for the future: 20th Century Fox has already staked out six more Marvel movie release dates over the next few years. It is presumed that at least one of those dates will go to Deadpool 3 and another to the X-Force spinoff; meaning that Fox is banking on Deadpool 2 being as big a success (and maybe then some) as its predecessor was.
