LOL, I know what you mean, bt good thing for me, I usually just don’t watch anything with vampires in it. So I’m still open to a new spin on vampires as long as they don’t glorify them like all of the other spins on the idea… I like this one because they are normal and flawed, they are not like some romantic mystical blah blah blah crap with girls going “oh, he’s soooo hot!” *rolls eyes*

I too have to admit, that the whole vampire genre is getting old in hurry. I mean, we have movies for civilized vampires (Twilight), mutant vampires (Blade II) vampires mixed into society (True Blood on HBO), mean vampires (The Lost Boys), prettyboy Vampires (Interview with the Vampire), ruthless Vampires (30 Days of Night), original vampires (Bram Stoker’s Dracula), hunted vampires (John Carpenter’s Vampires), vampires at war (Underworld)…you name it, there’s a vampire movie for it. I think this new spin is a pretty cool concept, but I for one am burned out on bloodsuckers.

I’m pretty sick of this whole fascination for vampires. Both the emo goth view of them and the whole romantic view of them. This movie is probably the only vampire movie that looks even halfway interesting for me, and that’s only because it puts a whole new spin on the vampire genre…

I absolutely LOVED “Undead”. I didn’t know this film was by the same filmmakers. The trailer I saw a while back looked awesome, and when I DO get around to watching this trailer, I’m sure it will be just as exciting.

To answer your question: I’m not sick of vampire films. I’m sick of Emo/Goth/Teen vampires. The SouthPark Vampire/Goth episode anyone? It said it all.
