First Day Of Shooting On Iron Man 2

Well Jon Favreau let folks know that today was the first day of shooting on the set of Iron Man 2. These days he’s keeping fans up to date on his Twitter page instead of on MySpace (thank goodness!).

Yesterday he said it was Robert Downey Jr’s birthday and they spent the last part of the evening going over the script one more time before shooting began.

Here are a couple of pics he posted just for fun (nothing Earth shattering):

Favreau said that shooting went great today and that he’s happy to be doing what he loves with wonderful people. He also said that this is his first sequel and that if felt like everyone picked up right where they left off.

In other movie related news, Superherohype says that there will be shooting taking place at some point at the Masonic Temple in Pasadena under the fake movie title “Rasputin.”

We will of course keep you posted on everything related to Iron Man 2 here at Screen Rant.

Iron Man 2 is scheduled to open just over a year away on May 7th, 2010.

  6. I think that I saw Robert Downey Jr having lunch with Boto from Kasio Kristmas at the Paseo Colorado (the outside mall down the street) Does anyone know if this could be?
