I’m not putting up the poster for Fox Studios’ The Day The Earth Stood Still for two reasons:
1. They might decide to threaten me with lawyers for some retarded reason, like they did after my previous post about the movie.
2. I think this film will be such a monstrous suck-fest that there is a danger it will act as a black hole and destroy the Earth. Ironic considering its “green” message.

Man, I really don’t believe Fox would be bothered by YOUR site. get real! They did nothing against AICN, IMO you are trying to look bigger than you are or are too easily frightened. And if this teaser poster say anything to me is that it’s resemblance to Close Encounters points that it’s a project going to the right direction. Early judgement and bias is the kiss of death for sites like this one nowadays.

Oh, and they’re completely twisting the story from one where the alien race sends an emissary to Earth because they’re concerned we’ll take our penchant for killing each other out into space with a concern that we’ll go out and pollute other planets.

Man’s violence to his fellow man is still a recent subject (If not even more prevalent today) then it was during the first airing of the original movie. We’re even MORE likely to destroy an alien planet with the currant Bush administration, so why make such a wimpy script change?
