A remake of the original Heavy Metal….?.In my opinion there are so many other cool story lines in Heavy Metal.Why not just pick a few out and start with them.Heavy Metal 2000 was ok it just left me wanting more.I think this would be a great opportunity to showcase some of the old artist(if they are still around and not to jaded) as well as the new ones. This was my first midnight movie as a teenager only $3 for a double feature.

There is no other movie (or franchise) I’ve seen in the theaters more than Heavy Metal! Not even Star Trek!!

Yes greenknight, the original was Canadian.

This is one of those films where any preconceived notions we may have should be shelved. With so many directors and just a basis of a story(s) I only expect it be as far from the mainstream as the last one.

… I need a good reaction, cuz it’s late in the evening…

Sounds good, just as long as they keep the Sammy Hagar Heavy Metal song in it! Maybe an updated version?
(I’d rather see a remake of ‘Wizards’ though.)
