These next few months are going to rock our foundations…

Good assessment however the MIB’s (Smoking man and the Majestic group) were later trying to create an immunity weapon against the aliens but that resulted in disaster. Because of that act, the aliens gave the MIB and all human life the date 2012 as to when they (the alien greys) would release a virus (the black oil) and use humans as a birthing chambers for a new race of hybrid aliens. Mankind would be killed off in the process.

Mulder was abducted later on in the series because he was given an immunity to the Black oil in Russia. Same time as Krycheck. The aliens were experimenting on him to see what made him immune. Scully is also immune at this point, as she was exposed to the virus in “Fight The Future.” She was infected by the bee that stung her…

The second film “I Want to Believe”, dealt with breaking Scully’s final barrier of non believing. Yeah it was kinda slow paced if your coming off “Fight The Future” however the film has an important scene in the final seconds of the credits that real hard core X Files fans will totally get. If you don’t get that scene then your not that big a fan,,, sorry.

And then the alien rebels came in, and ‘the group’ tried to create a human/alien hybrid, and the whole mulder abduction/dying resurrection thing. The series got a little confusing at the end.

But with the final shot of Mulder and Scully in a dark hotel room on the run it seemed like the story had one more chapter to tell. Hopefully it will, because X-Files 2 was decent it wasn’t nearly as good as some of the stand alone X-file episodes that had nothing to do with the government/alien mythology storyline.

So, if that were to be the script centered on colonization in 2012 then I would want to believe in an X-Files 3.

A little closure for X-Files fans would be nice as well, especially after waiting 8 yrs for to see Mulder and Scully again, and that film was the best they could do? Come on.

Its too bad they had blow up the cigarette smoking man at the end of the series though. Hopefully Alex Krychezk will show up!

i think the thing that bothered me most about the last film was the interaction between Mulder and Scully. It was very bitter and didn’t seem to have that love they had for each other in the show. I’d like to see them fix that in the next film.

I wasn’t aware that Californication was done. Is there a reason it was cancelled/ended?

And as for Millennium, that’d be a dream to see, again, even without Carter.

im not sure but maybe check the hulu website. i think that’s what it’s called. if not, the only way is by dvd. and yes, many episodes are 1 or 2 parts. there are a couple that run 3 or more parts as well. the best way to figure it out is to go to any tv show website like zap2it.com or something like that to get the names of the episodes. or if you have dvr or tivo you can record episodes right from the sy/fy channel. they play episodes every night at 2am and they go in succession.
