Strange. The podcast stops playing after “Will the audience tire of RDJ playing Tony Stark”.

Strange. You can open it in the “new window” and fast forward more easily if the problem continues. Sometimes, it just hiccups. Everything seems to be working on our end.

The awesomeness (terribleness?) is certainly palpable ;)

I agree with you guys on the fear of having too many heroes in Avengers 2. I think it would be good to rotate characters around to make room for new people because I could only see them maybe adding one new person to the hero roster and finding balance but anymore than that and things would fall apart in my opinion. If they don’t stick with Whedon for the sequel it would be like “courting death itself” sorry had to say that at least once:)

It’ll be interesting to see how they balance it out. Everyone really does get room to shine in ‘The Avengers’ and you’d hate to see a bigger cast actually = less compelling character drama.

I agree on Kofi’s idea – it would make sense to rotate the characters around a bit.

I am definitely more inclined to check out “The Room” before I give “Birdemic” a shot.

    1 – The Avengers
    2 – Battleship
3 – What to Expect When You’re Expecting
    4 – The Dictator
    5 – Dark Shadows
10 – The Five Year Engagement

I think you all were wrong about the observers on fringe. I’ve watched the show since first episode. If you pay attention you to when there other observers on screen, there is always something unsaid between them. I do think they had the observer take over plan all the time. If not, there was no point to having more than one observer.

For me, it’s especially weird since the other Observers were always on “Mister Gemini” (the first Observer) for interfering – i.e. saving Peter.

Maybe they had it planned all along but, considering the various crazy premises the show has successfully implemented, this one felt the most “forced” or, at the very least, the least nuanced.

That said, I’m willing to admit that’s entirely subjective.

    Avengers 2 line-up

    Captain America
    Hawkeye
    Black Widow
    Antman
    Wasp
    Black Panther
    Vision

Hulk, as awesome as he was in Avengers, was a sporadic member and even left the team early on. So no Hulk.

Iron Man, well after 4 film appearences he’s a bit overexposed.

Thor, possibly a cameo but if Avengers 2 is going a earthbound wakanda/ultron/pym storyline then maybe send Thor off to film thor 3.

I could see that line-up. Though, I’d expect Hulk, Iron Man, and Thor to all be in there somehow – just maybe not center stage. Akin to Kofi’s suggestion of rotating them into the background.
