Daniel’s acting skills are good. There’s no doubt of it. My complain is that he fisically looks like Michael -the actor who played Blomkvist in the Swe version.

I’m a fan of Craig, not as Bond so much but most of his other films, and I think he will be great in this role. However, I just bought the original film last week, and it just doesnt need to be remade, everything in it is damn near perfect.

So, while I’m sure I will watch this, it seems almost completely pointless and will always be compared to the original.

I didn’t know there has already been a production of this. I just finished the books and loved them. I’m more worried about who they will cast as Lisbeth, they have to get that right. I think Daniel is an okay choice to play Blomkvist, I like the look of the actor they had to play in the Swedish version better, I think he fits the character more closely, I don’t know anything about how his acting skills are.

I’m worried that they will put Kristen Stewart in the role of Lisbeth Salander. She seems to be in everything anymore, but she does fit the description, she can pull surly off without an effort but I really hope they get someone else.

it’s just me or Daniel is in fact alike to Michael Nyqvist?

Couldn’t they just cast an actor that doesn’t resemblance Michael’s face?

Same thing with Chloe and Lina. I don’t think this remake is really necessary, just like Let Me In.

I mean, if it’s just studios trying to bring some money home with a copy-cat movie… ok I can get that… but how much can they add to the story? we still has to see… or hear in my case because I pass on both.
