Without him as a composer Star Trek (TOS) would be a lot less enjoyable (just listen to the awful scores from ENTERPRISE!) and as a conductor most of Goldsmiths works would by far not sound as good as they do!

It was soo funny watching Harvey try not to laugh and Tim just tormenting him.

When he did laugh everyone watching burst out! Hahaaa!
What a great show that was and what a great talent we lost.

In the skits with Tim Conway, the funniest thing was watching Korman try NOT to laugh. When Tim did his Extremely Slow Old Man character, I loved watching Korman’s eyes bug out…I bet the coronor will find MUCH scar tissue inside Mr. Korman’s cheeks where he used to bite down to keep from guffawing.

Rest in peace Harvey. I’m sure you’re in a place where it’s safe to LOL now.

Great talent and a very funny man! I really loved his parts in the Mel Brooks films, Blazing Saddles, High Anxiety, and History of the World p1. He was also great as “Professor Balls” in the Trail of the Pink Panther.
Of course he was ledgend as I grew up watching one of the last great stage tv shows, “The Carol Burnett Show”. He and Tim Conway were the best!
Rest easy Harvey you made the world laugh and feel good!

He was probably the funniest one in Blazing Saddles. Man, but he had some lines in that movie!

Get me thugs, lugs, bushwhackers, hornswagglers, murderers, cuthroats, and methodists!

And I know that isn’t half of it and not even in the right order.
That and his speech to his gang could not have been easy to do at all.
Real shame he went.
