Excitement for the Arrowverse's Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover continues to build, as set photos reveal Birds of Prey star Ashley Scott on set as the Huntress. The event will feature characters from all five Arrowverse shows (plus Black Lightning) as they come together to save the multiverse. Based on the comic of the same name, Crisis on Infinite Earths will feature LaMonica Garrett as the villainous Anti-Monitor who becomes more powerful as worlds fall. It will boast several other guest stars from both the Arrowverse and the world of DC. Smallville stars Tom Welling and Erica Durance will return as Superman and Lois Lane, as will Batman: The Animated Series star Kevin Conroy as an older version of Bruce Wayne.

Birds of Prey aired on The WB from 2002 to 2003. Like the new CW series BatwomanBirds of Prey took place in Gotham City after Batman left. It focused on Scott's character, Helena Kyle aka Huntress, as well as Batgirl and telepath Dinah Redmond. Though Birds of Prey only lasted one season, The CW is hoping to have luck with a similar series next year: an Arrow spinoff about the Canaries. The pilot episode of that series will air at some point as part of Arrow's final season and will feature the show's current characters Mia Smoak, Dinah Drake, and Earth-2's Laurel Lance.

Now, Canadagraphs (via CBR) took the set photos of Scott's return as Huntress. In them, she's wearing Helena's iconic cloak and has on the same short, dark wig she wore in Birds of Prey. The character's pendant is also visible. The set photos are from The Flash's crossover episode, which will air on December 10, following Supergirl and Batwoman on December 8 and 9. The Flash's episode will be the last to air before Christmas, until the crossover resumes with Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow on January 14. News of Scott's casting broke last month.

Ashley Scott in Birds of Prey

Though this is the first time Scott has appeared in the Arrowverse, another version of her character, Helena Bertinelli, has appeared on Arrow several times. Jessica De Gouw took on the role and recurred throughout the show's first two seasons. Helena originally developed a romantic relationship with Oliver Queen, as he helped her try to get revenge on her mob boss father. However, things went sideways when Oliver realized just how dangerous she was. He eventually helped to put Helena in jail, and she hasn't been seen since. There was talk of her return in the latter half of Arrow season 6 but that never came to fruition.

There hasn't been any news of De Gouw's possible return in Crisis on Infinite Earths, so Scott may be the only Huntress to make an appearance. Scott's return is also notable because it may reunite her with Rachel Skarsten, who played Dinah on Birds of Prey. Skarsten currently stars as Alice on Batwoman. Even if the two don't interact, fans should still be happy to see Scott in her iconic costume once again. And, as Crisis on Infinite Earths continues to film, they may spot a few more of their favorite Arrowverse characters as well.
