British rocker Gavin Rossdale has been tapped for a guest appearance on Criminal Minds as a brutal serial killer. How cool is that? His criminally induced appearance is slated to show up in November in the police procedural.
Don’t fret. This isn’t Gavin’s first fling with acting. He’s been in How to Rob a Bank, Zoolander, Constantine & The Mayor of Sunset Strip. Constantine… oh good, something I’ve seen!
Criminal Minds on CBS, premieres on September 23rd at 9 p.m. I can’t wait. This, is a Bruce Fave!

Bush was one of my favorite bands back in the early 20’s. Although I rarely listen to them anymore. I’m actually a little surprised at how decent Gavin is in most of his roles considering he’s a musician turned actor.
The thing is, though, he wasn’t all that terrific in Constantine. He was good lookin(i’m not gay dude) but he was just there. He didn’t act well at all I thought. His new songs are actually on Top 40 radio, but it sounds like some song someone else would sing much better lol. Sooo someone else mighta been helping him out on the production front(coughs Gwen). It’s all about David Bowie, son!

That’s gonna be cool. For the most part whenever Criminal Minds have actracted name recognition for an unsub role, the actors knock it out of the park. i thinkt he only exception was the Frankie Muniz (or whatever his name is)episode in season 3. Not only was he horrible but it was a horendus episode, period. Hopefully Gavin does a decent job.
