I thought this episode was one of the best. I as well didn’t think they would kill Haley off, especially like that. But you have to believe that Hotchner wouldn’t be the hero to his family like everyone wanted him to be. They made it clear he had to pay the ultimate price for not making the deal with The Reaper. But yes this was definatly a great episode. I cried like a baby because all I could think about was how horrible it would be to be on the phone with your partner when they were killed. They made it where everyone watching could relate to the human emotion and attachment.

The episode 2 weeks ago showing a couple slaughtering people for the sexual stimulation may be the last episode of Criminal Minds I watch. I’ve watched most of the series for years and there has been a lot of perverts that were killers but this was too much!! The characters have been great, but now I’m extremely disappointed in the writers of the show.

What a stupid show, just watched the episode where the guy was feeding people to pigs. They made it look like the fbi could come into Canada and do what they want and made the RCMP look like idiots. The truth is they wouldn’t even be allowed across the border and no local Cop would make the call to allow it and when it comes to investigating were the ones who catch most of your criminals trying to jump the border. Maybe the writers should stick to the only thing they have a clue about the only country there schools teach them about.

hi i have seen season 6 of Criminal minds, and they have made a big sound mistake that lady Garsiya who is computer operator. the keyboard she is using its rubber key board and it never make sound when you use but in in season 6 when she use it.. its sound like 1990s keyboards… dont they use their brain….

The people that wrote the story from season 4, ep 13 are so wrong. Why do you believe that the gipsis come from Romania? It’s not true! In the end the writer was right.It’s all about family, big family. But they should of known a verry important thing!!! NO OUTSIDERS!!!
An advice for the writers that wish to include Romania in theyr stories:DO NOT WRITE about things you do not understand!We are manny and gippsis are now considered to be from our coulture.

I have to admit this was an amazing episode! I cried like if it was my own family member getting hurt. Even though the episode was supurb, I would’ve rather Hotchner’s wife not get killed. It’s just too emotional. Plus it seems kinda cold of Hotch not to take the early retirement. I absolutely love this show..so addicting!

I agree that the cellphone last conversation, the curtain’s shooting and Foyet’s death are climax scenes, but I would like to add the joint scenes of Hotch and his son, first the brief flashback and then the resolution of the plot, when he finds him safe. And the epilogue too: has anybody noted what does Jack has in his hand when he finally embraces his dad? Rarely a fictional plot had shocked me so much. Congratulations for all the guys, hope for more 100 episodes.

I just watched this episode for the 3rd time tonight (Sept. 1, 2010). Rarely does a show that I know to be fictional make me FEEL it, like this one did. The acting was INCREDIBLE !!! It is Howell’s best performance since The Hitcher. I’m not usually one to pay much attention to who wins what at awards shows, but, if several of the actors in this episode did not win SOMETHING for their portrayal, there is no justice!

Okay, CM is like my real-life x-men. They are a loyal family that all have their special places to contribute—and they are thick as thieves, right? Anyway, it was their family-like love and compassion that did it for me on this episode. I don’t even remember breathing during the whole conversation on the cell phone and I collapsed when everyone else collapsed at the end of the call. The acting was absolutely exquisite. I really thought they’d end the Foyet story in the season finale, but this was so much better!! You never know what to expect from CM, that’s why it’s my fav. Love, love, loved it!

I too was soo caught up in all the emotions…I didn't even know I had started to cry. I so wish that Hotch's wife would not have died, but it made a spectacular episode. My fear was also that he had shot his son when he shot into the curtains. I mean I literally shouted “NO” at the tv screen, but then I saw the Reaper come out and was releived. Though I knew he had to be faking his death because the episode was too good up til then to end with the Reaper dying so quickly.
All in ALl a GREAT episode!! I literally cannot get enough of this show!!!

It was completely uncalled for. The team doesn't know victims personally, so why bring in such horror happening to team family members and for the audience to have to deal with and remember.
