USA Network is working to get season number 9 of the Law & Order spin-off, Criminal Intent, but we’re looking at some changes.
Julainne Nicholson has opted to not return. Her possible replacement could be Saffron Burrows (My Own Worst Enemy).
The veterans of the series, Vincent D’Onofrio and Kathryn Erbe, are looking to return in some capacity. Not sure what though.
Law & Order… It just keeps on ticking & ticking. Sometimes that’s good, sometimes it just gets long in the tooth. How do you folks feel about Law & Order:CI? Let us know.

What I really want to know is. . . are they going to bring Law and Order UK across the pond to us yanks?
Apparently D’Onofrio and Erbe will not return to Law 7 Order CI except for possibly a guest shot. I cannot believe anyone in their right mind would want a “lighter” cop show and personally detest the show, Monk.

Well, indeed USA has lost it. Lighter indeed, is everything a joke? Is murder and mayhem suppose to light and funny? How can you get good programs out of B actors? They have the best detective to hit the airways in decades, with Goren. You expect Goldblum to fill D’Onofrio’s size 13’s—I think not!! What a mistake! They are cutting salaries and they are losing fans at the same time. As it is I only watched every other week. Now all I may do is watch re-runs of D’Onofrio/Erbe. Or just watch my discs, I have all the shows recorded. We are gonna miss you Vince and Kate….Good Luck!!…..and to USA–good-bye!!!

There are alot of people from all over the world that concur with you! Vince D’Onofrio is the show and without all the characters that made the show such a hit, loyal fans will not watch. It was NOT the stories, but the great actors/acting that made it go! Please reconsider USA/NBC/Universal and give us back the show with the only actors that belong in it.
I have never written in to comment about a show but I feel compelled to do so now. Without Goren and Eames there is no Law and Order CI. This is the best of the Law and order series and the best of its genre on TV. Please don’t screw it up!
I was/am watching the show because of Goren/Vincent d’Onofrio. I had to get used to this character at first, but then he really grew on me. I find him very charismatic. He brings something different to the LO series. It’s far more interesting to watch then for example Stabler, another wound up cop like many. (Kind of one-dimensional, at least to me) Without Goren it’s just like any other cop-show in my opinion. I’ve seen two Jeff Goldblum episodes in NY last summer (I live in Amsterdam, it’s not aired yet) and wasn’t too impressed although I had high expectations. I will really miss Vincent D’onofrio and will be very sorry to see him go.
Who ever thought turning Law & order:ci into the Jeff Goldblum show is making a mistake,and just lost a loyal fan.The best part of loci was goran and eames.I watch all 3 L&W’s, but now one less.
