Personally, I enjoyed this movie very much. Cool special effects, good cast. I think they did the cartoon proud!
(Also, it didnt hurt that Emile Hirsch was casted as Speed =D )

I watched “Into the
Wild” yesterday and was completly blown away by the acting in the film as well of course the story…
^
I’m watching this adventure this guy is on he’s basically done with colledge, society and his abusive parents and he sets out on the
road in search of happiness away from the ratrace.
^
Without giving anything away. The entire film was basically this guy in every shot.
He carried the entire film and was brilliant. It was like watching the birth of the next great actor, think I’m wrong check it out!!

Anyway today it hits me!

Emile Hirsch was that guy!!

This is great news for this new Speedracer film. I can’t believe how great this film is going to be !!
Such a great cast!

You know its amazing I thought the same thing Vic.
Its visually like that remake in a Wachoski reboot kinda way. They are sticking to cannon and they love the roto-scope shots. Remember Speedy had those in the opening title song.
This could be a sleeper mega-hit.

Thanx,Adrian. I too hope it’s better than Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,which was a dumb idea to make anyway,especially when the original was so entertaining and well remembered. Heck,most people probably don’t even know there was a remake.

Wow! One way to do a movie that you think nobody’ll give a damn about is to juice it up with special FX!! Suddenly I’m interested in this movie,looks cool! (In the back of my mind tho,this sorta reminds me of Burton’s “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” flick)
