This summer, USA Network added a brand new series to their hit television line-up with Covert Affairs, and we’ve got a giveaway worth over $100 to go with it.

From the producers of The Bourne Trilogy, Covert Affairs follows new CIA trainee, Annie Walker (Piper Perabo), as she’s suddenly promoted out of “the Farm” and into the role of active field operative. Obviously, being that it’s USA, things aren’t always what they appear. While Annie is forced to deal with Russian spies, double-agents from MI-6 and corrupt Venezuelan government officials, her superiors have other things on their mind (unbeknownst to her): Capturing her mysterious ex-boyfriend.

The term “Characters Welcome” couldn’t be more appropriate for Covert Affairs. While Perabo delivers a solid performance as Annie Walker, her co-stars are equally as captivating. Backing her up on each mission (albeit from the CIA offices) is Auggie Anderson, a military intelligence officer who was blinded in Iraq, played wonderfully by Christopher Gorham (really – he’s great). And, as always, the CIA wouldn’t be the CIA without all of the “red-tape.” So, to help fill the roles of Annie’s superiors (and the masterminds behind wanting to capture her ex-boyfriend) are Joan Campbell (Kari Matchett) as the head of the Domestic Protection Division and Arthur Campbell (Peter Gallagher) as the CIA Director of the National Clandestine Service.

Of course, the CIA can’t take up all of Annie’s life (although, it does a good amount). To help ground Annie in reality is her sister (whom she lives with) Danielle Brooks (Anne Dudek) and her two children. Although, Annie’s relationship with her sister can be complicated at times, especially because Danielle believes that Annie works for the Smithsonian.

If you’re a fan of Burn Notice, White Collar or In Plain Sight, you’re sure to love Covert Affairs.

  3. Great show sexy and action.

  4. Haven’t seen this show yet but it looks good.

  5. As a fellow OU grad I’m glad Piper Perabo has found a good show in Hollywood. After starring in “Coyote Ugly” I don’t think she had another starring film role. Cool show, I have 3 episodes backed up on the DVR.

  6. Thanks–got the shipping notice today and didn’t know who to thank–now I know!
