  1. Sad news for anyone who might have wanted a Baby Groot, Marvel have forced to Etsy seller to cancel all orders and cease making the product.

    • was wondering how long it would take for them to do that. Happens all the time, sadly. One of these days they’re going to learn stupid litigious crap like this only hurts their brand. Should people get to capitalize on proprietary characters and likenesses? No. But when someone is genuinely creative, comes up with something unique and awesome that people want – they should work out a deal with the artist, they’ll prosper, the artist will prosper – and the fans will be happy.

      • Yeah – but can you really say this person came up with something creative, unique, or awesome?

They decided to make a baby Groot after watching the movie. While it looks like they did a nice job with it, it doesn’t look like something that anyone into that sort of thing couldn’t do and probably thought about doing if only as a mental exercise.

I also imagine that Disney already has merchandising plans in the works already and this guy just isn’t a part of them.

  2. Point of information! Prachya Pinkaew was the director of Ong Bak, the fightijng was choreographed by the master of Thai action films,Panna Rittikrai.

  3. Baby groot!? Shut up & take my money! Now!
