That and bloggers being so willing to remarket / distribute their wares, via our own brand of free redistribution for the studios!!!

I’m not sure exactly when it happened – more of a transition I suppose, but I’d say it really started happening within the last 5-7 years or so as studios began to perceive a benefit of marketing directly at the hard core fans.

To Vic, congrats on being the panel. Can you ask this question, when did Comic-Con deviate from a convention about comic books to what is new with all things entertainment. I know you can’t ask that question but you get what I mean.
