Every year at Comic-Con we at Screen Rant look forward to the same things as everyone else: great panels on movies and TV shows, interviews with celebrities, interesting booths and of course, great costumes. Cosplay has become a huge part of the Comic-Con experience with people of every age and every walk of life getting into the spirit by dressing up as their favorite superhero, TV character or comic book character – even a few pedicab drivers join in on the fun!
With more than 100,000 people attending Comic-Con in 2012, there is no way to see every great costume out there. So of the ones we did see, we found 22 costumes that we liked above all the others. You’ll find the names of each of the characters below with the rank we have assigned them.
Check out our favorite cosplay costumes from Comic-Con 2012 in the gallery below:

Neat pics…one mistake in your identifications:
There’s really no reason most people would know this (and it’s frightening enough that I do), but the picture with She-Ra in it does NOT have a female He-Man…That is actually “Battleground Teela” from the newest MattyCollector.com toyline.
Ahem…
@Archaeon – Good grief and LMAO! I’ll make the change and you’re right…no way would I have known that.

Is say the engineer has the best costume
His costume is well-done…especially with the highlight shading. My favorite, though, is the Joker right below. That guy definitely chose his look well.
@trey
Given that this is California, there’s a good chance that IS the guy that played the Engineer in the beginning of the movie, even his face looks right, lol.
Loving the Tick & Arthur, just plain awesome. Conversely the Beta Ray Bill was really phoning it in.
That Bill costume gives me the creeps. It makes me laugh too.
Some pretty cool costumes!!!
Yay! I’m the Chewbacca cosplayer on your page. Thank you so much for including me. If you happened to get any other photos I’d love to see them. I got very few that day.
Thanks again. I appreciate the recognition.
Sam
Sam, I saw you at the Con – fantastic costume! Loved the way you just towered over the crowd, too!
Vic
Awesome costume, Sam!
Wow, I’m getting to this thread late as hell lol. I’m actually the Red Skull you got up there. Any way I could get the original sized photo that the camera took? That would be absolutely awesome!
Thank You!
