I don’t know about respectable. From the “younger hipper” cast, to almost all of the pics I’ve seen of it, it looks like it will be a gimmick fest…

Like all of their new uniforms all being form fitting and black since black is so tacticool and all…

And I’m sure that sword will do real good against a bunch of guys with rifles, but I guess since he’s all “ninja” and ninjas are so cool they can overcome any obstacle…

I’m sure at some point in the movie he will chop down a bullet on its way to his head (instead of just dodging it…) even though all that would do is cause him to get hit by two objects instead of one… But whatever…

I wonder how many, if any, of the special G.I. Joe vehicles will make it into the first movie. I not only had the G.I. Joe characters, I also had the vehicles. I’m hoping some of the more unique ones make it into the movie. My favorite ones were the H.A.V.O.C., and the Cobra Night Raven.

I’m very excited. Of course, I’m a 100% GI Joe geek. I played with the 3 3/4 action figures that came after the 12″ big ones. I never had any of those.

I played with G.I. Joes WAY too many years ago (back when they were actually just plain old soldiers), so I’m just not terribly excited about this.
