Sorry but why is Statham playing a Navy Seal!!?? He can’t do any accent other than London British. Pandering to the US market presumably, rubbish.

I have been waiting for these two to be put in a film together for 3 years. The only other movie they both appear in was The Pink Panther but Jason’s only in the beginning and Clive appears briefly further in. I am looking forward to this movie – I’m a fan of both guys!

I have no problem with Craig either, it is the writing that lets him down. I remeber there was talk of Owen taking over the role after Brosnan, but he would only do two movies and wanted a percentage of the total gross. So they went with Craig.

It’s not a remake of the Sam Peckinpah-directed film which was starred by James Caan and Robert Duvall,but also another example of awesome pairing.Statham was actually already attached to this project since last summer, shooting was supposed to start last fall. But now it is gonna be delayed for some time later.
