Clash of the Titans is one of Screen Rant’s top 10 most anticipated films for 2010 and as we approach the spring release date, we’re seeing more and more released for the film showing off its star Sam Worthington, especially now that his other starrer, Avatar, has hit it big.

Collider put up some new photos from Clash of the Titans last night, however half of the photos we posted about back in October and aren’t new – they came from Empire Magazine. The (actually) new images show off the movie’s star and highlight the vast set design constructed for the shoot, allowing for practical and more realistic backgrounds.

We still don’t know yet if the movie will be 3D after what Sam Worthington said about the studio considering it. Can they really do a good job of it in such short notice? Would it be worth the higher ticket prices? (that being the only reason to quickly add “3D”).

I don’t think it’ll be in 3D. What do you think?

If you missed them, be sure to check out the first and second Clash of the Titans trailers.

Clash of the Titans hits theaters on March 26th, 2010 with some re-shoots taking place this month.

  1. Go Worthington!!!!!!!
hope he lands the cap america role.

  2. I’m excited about the movie…but I’m just praying they don’t mess it up. I mean, I really adored the original, even if the “special effects” are totally dated. So what?

That said, at least they’re going all out. Again, as I’ve said about other films, hopefully they won’t go CGI crazy…but when you have GODS to deal with you might have no choice.

  3. please, PLEASE, no 3-D…
if the film was not conceived as 3-D, it should NOT be released as 3-D.

Why Avatar works so well is BECAUSE it was conceived of as a 3-D vehicle.

  4. Mike E. I agree with you. People seem to be confusing why Avatar’s 3D worked. You cannot just add 3D for the sake of it because Avatar is doing well in epic preportions.
If studios must, just have the Krakken ending in 3D, why not.

  5. Wow, can’t wait for this one to come out. I loved the newest trailer with the Kraken. Waiting for more pics of it. I reviewed that trailer if you want to check it out.

  6. For some reason, I just think this movie looks awful. Like not bad, I’m talking about beyond bad. Like, you need to pay me the $12 to see it. Thoughts?

  7. I think you’re nuts, Matt..no offense. This movie looks like it will be something that needs to be experienced on the big screen. Can’t wait to see Liam Neeson as Zeus!

Oh, NO 3-D!! Actually, that kind of worries me that they’re thinking of adding that in at the last minute. It makes me wonder what they think of the final product.

Oh well, I will be seeing this in the theater, but NOT in 3-d!

  8. Heh, we're going to be reviewing the re-release of the DVD of the original Clash of the Titans next week. I'm really getting in hear for this one AND it comes out on my birthday! Whoohoo!
