The more I read about this movie the more I look forward to it I'm will definitely check this out in the theater. I would also like to watch the original from 1981 before going to see this...

I think Worthington is being given the mantle as latest "IT" boy and I'm afraid with the onslaught of media/promotion coming with Avatar he may end up being overexposed by the time this movie comes out even if he has appeared in only a few movies with a large role to that point..

I think Worthington's involvement in Avatar can be a huge plus for this movie, especially if Avatar is as great as it's hyped up to be.

Agreed Worthington kick's ass and this looks very interesting...
  • At last a remake i want to see - it looks gritty and realistic unlike the absurdly phony original.

The original is a classic and I will always love it. Yes the effects are dated but the action and actors were great.

Boy Worthington took some serious Balco candy for this film. Funny how so many action stars get away with juicing up for roles now days. Kind of reminds me of the gold old 80's action days except then the films actually seemed to have plots and charisma in addition to chemically enhanced characters. Now for the most part we only have the chemically enhanced characters

This movie looks awesome, I'll definitely be going to see it, along with Avatar.

    @ Claymore

Are you really trying to rip on a movie that was made in the early 80's for its special effects? Those of us old enough to remember were happy to have films take the chance in those days.
