With Clash of the Titans almost in theaters, the final promotional onslaught has begun to bombard us. Today, we have almost a dozen new clips and a whole gallery of new images to share, enough promo materials for you to see entire movie before you ever have a chance to catch it in theaters.
Of course, our new Clash of the Titans clips and images haven’t been retrofitted with 3D enhancement, so you’ll still have to pay exorbitant theater ticket prices to get that experience.
For those of you still willing to engage in some 2D entertainment, the clips and images are down below. For those who aren’t aware of what Clash of the Titans is all about, here’s a quick explanation:
In this God of War rip-off remake of Desmond Davis’ 1981 classic, Sam Worthington (Avatar) plays Perseus, “the mortal son of Zeus who embarks on a perilous journey to stop the underworld and its minions from spreading their evil to Earth as well as the heavens.”
We’ll cover some of the clips first, then move on to the images:

This movie looks entertaining enough – but I will be skipping the 3D version. Those 3D tickets are almost $17 here in NYC and I know that Clash of the Tians was retrofitted for 3D (it wasn’t filmed that way), meaning a gimmick-heavy version of the film awaits those who pay the higher price.
Faced with that option, 2D works just fine for me. How about you?
Clash of the Titans will be in theaters (in 3D and 2D) on April 2, 2010.
