It has swirlies on it. :D

Looks cool. I hope they don't dumb it down like they did with the lame-o mess that was "Prince Caspian". The transition from book to script will be interesting to see if they do it right... as was said, there isn't too much heavy action in the book.
If they make the islands all unique and visually awesome and interesting, they shouldn't have too much to worry about. Maybe?
I'm looking forward to seeing it, what with the new crew at the helm, as it were.

    @ WoolyCaveman

Not when I was a kid.

'Wardrobe,' 'Magician's Nephew,' and 'Last Battle' were the ones the librarian read to us.

Will Ben Barnes still play Caspian?

I thought they werent making sequels to the Narnia movies anymore. I thought that the past two were pretty boring and that they were only tolerable by children. Really dont care about this, sad because the books were really good when I was growing up
  • Ben
i'm sure that they will throw in extra action that wasn't in the book into the movie..thats what they do

Actually Dawn Treader is considered one of the most popular ones...

That looks like a kiddy merry go round lmao :D

Wait a minute! Isn't 3 years of our time like 3 thousand Narnia years? How is Caspian still around?

    Not much action, but

    SPOILERS

Eustace does get turned into a dragon, so they'll have something to put in the trailer.

Dawn Treader is really the most allegory-heavy book in the series, and it's full of fantastic character moments (particularly the ending), so I hope it comes off well. I hope it's more successful than Prince Caspian, too, so that The Silver Chair (ie the best book) is made.

The book doesn't have much action in it, so it wont be able to grasp the audience that will be expecting it.

I don't think Disney or Fox made/is making any of these films. They just provide the funding. But of course the people providing the funding will have a say in the movie's production, but they don't actually make the movie per-se...

going down to cleveland point to see the ship very soon, can't wait
  • i LOVE the first two but im having a hard time imagining this one being done to the same scale because in the book (*SPOILERS*) I dont recall there being any wars really...its more like exploring weird islands.

These movies are actually pretty cool, can't wait for this one :D

Somehow I doubt that Fox can do the source material better justice than Disney. That is NOT a good sign for this film, although I enjoyed both of the films thus far.
