I’m not really all that in a hurry to see another Batman movie. I loved both “Batman Begins” and “The Dark Knight.” The concern I have for the third film is strictly related to plot and character. If they want to do Catwoman, then that’s great, but they will have a hard time making this work in a way that appeals to the average person unless they find the right plot. Personally, I think the only way to make a Batman film with Catwoman work is to make the story revolve around the concept of what really is a crime. After all, what Batman does is technically criminal. What makes him the hero and someone else who bends the rules a villain? Given Catwoman’s character and the potential romance between the Cat and Bats, this seems logical to me.

Anyway, I’m a big fan of Nolan’s work, even beyond Batman, so I’m eager to see what Inception will be like.

I think The Dark Knight is a better film, but I think Batman Begins is an easier film to watch over again. I really like them both. Just wished they would have cut the ending from TDK though, that was just bad, everything was good until that last 20 minutes or so.

Christopher Nolan has been my favorite director since I saw “Memento” on Starz way back when I was a mere 12 years old. I loved the movie more than anything I’ve ever seen; I was just so captivated by it. And ever since then, I’ve watched all of his movies. They are all great works of art. And I’m going to say something that has gotten some backlash from my friends: I like Batman Begins more than The Dark Knight.

That is a lot of nothing to get to my point, and that point is, if he is going to do another Batman movie, which I believe he will do because he seems like a guy who would plan everything out until it’s closure (and seeing how The Dark Knight didn’t end happy it seems logical), then him taking time to do something else and try something new is fine by me. I love all of his movies and I’m sure I will love “Inception.”

Oh well. I guess we’ll have to suffer through movies about OTHER DC characters (yes, they have other great characters than just Batman) like Green Lantern (Hal Jordan) and/or The Flash (Barry Allen) for the next few years instead of yet ANOTHER Batman film. I mean, bats really needs the exposure, he’s only had like 6 films and is in EVERYTHING DC does outside of comics.

I can deal with this. I love Batman, but before I see another Batman film I want a Flash, GL, and probably a GOOD Superman film. Let Nolan make whatever he wants for a while.

This is for the best. If he’s going to make the 3rd Batman any good, he needs to take a break to try other stuff out. I love everything this guy does, and actually am looking forward to this more than I would be for Batman 3.

Maybe he should just stop at 2, because the pressure on him isextensive..its a good idea to do another film, it assures that he won’t just be known as the batman guy..

LOL, you should have titled this article: “Christopher Nolan is NOT directing Batman 3…”

And kept the brief description hidden, and when you click on the link to see the full article, the first word should be “yet.” and Explain that he’s doing this one first, lol. You’ll get a lot of panicking fans clicking it to read about it…

Also, I’m glad you called it Batman 3 and not The Dark Knight 2… That’s always bugged me…
