Dicky did turn to drugs and was featured in the award winning HBO Documentary “High on Crack Street: Lost Lives in Lowell.” There was also a book written about Micky, recently, that I wish I could have watched instead of read. “Irish Thunder.”

I’m very excited to see Ward and Gatti’s “Trilogy” fights on the big screen…as well as all of Ward’s fights. As far as Bale and Wahlberg…meh. It’s hard for me to imagine either one of them in either role, but they’re both dedicated actor’s so I’m assuming they’ll both play their parts well.

Ward and Eklund are both amazing people today. Eklund’s story is sad that he went south, but he’s still a very nice guy that just went down the wrong path. He’s screwed up a few times since he’s been clean. The only difference between Dicky and any other recoving addict is that he’s “known” and it makes the local news when he does mess up. Ward is so down to earth. He’s a very humble man that would do anything for anyone…young and old. I can’t tell anyone how nice he is. Words couldn’t even tell you.

We’re all looking forward to this movie in the boxing community, as well as all the people in the city of Lowell. We’re very proud of Micky.

I am stoked about this film!!! I am a HUGE boxing fan and have nothing but respect and admiration for Mickey Ward!! (Loved the Gatti-Ward trilogy!!!) I cannot wait to see this film and I hope that Mickey and Arturo Gatti have cameos!!! Yummy!!! Mark and Christian are hott!!! I must be one of the few women on this planet that loves the sport!!

Criag I think bale would have no trouble with Irish accents. He seems to be very skilled with accents in general.

Has an Irish Rocky feel to it with excellent acting. Bale helps out a lot, can he pull off that accent? Pissed Aronofsky left the project, he would have made it solid. Will see it, also am a boxing fan and have watched Ward fight a few times.

I liked Mark in Four Brothers, The Invisible, The Departed, Italian Job, Shooter, The Perfect Storm. Then Christian has a million good movies, this movie is gonna be intense.

Bale and Wahlberg, BFF’s forever. I don’t mind they’re both superb actors and David O. Russell and Bryan Singer are two of todays best working directors.

Does this mean Bale for The Departed 2? I bloody hope so.

The Italian job was an ok flick, but nothing special. Rockstar was terrible and pretty much universally bashed and Invincible is an ok flick, but tried to be more than it could be especially with Marky Mark as the lead.

Bale does amazing, but Whalberg really never proved himself. The Departed was good, but he wasn’t the best part of it he just happened to be in a great movie with great actors he really didn’t contribute to the greatness much. Everything else he has done kind of sucked.

No I checked and Prisoners and The Fighter are two different movies, they just both include Bale and Wahlberg teaming up.

I know these guys do amazing in roles like this, so I’m expecing this movie(The Fighter) to be good at least, but I wish we could see them in a comedy movie. Like Tom Cruise in Tropic Thunder sorta. Anymore word on Wahlberg and Farrel teaming up for the buddy-cop comedy movie?

except the last batman movie and terminator movies,Bale hasn’t real movie project.Killing Pablo is in stand-by,Prisoner isn’t official(only announced)this movie is his first real project since the end of T4! Dicaprio or Damon have many projects!
