I’m not a comic book guy but this costume looks a little too busy and futuristic………. however I’ve never been a fan of artist rendering and have been really happy with how Marvel have portrayed their characters so far.
I actually love this look. THOR is a god and the costume works great! The realism of tights with panties and capes is a bit ridiculous in movies although Spider-Man’s outfit was brilliant. THOR’s and CAPTAIN AMERICA’s “uniforms” works tremendously well and believable in my book.
Thor’s costume looks great! I wonder if the costume designer(s) have considered putting the chain mail on his pants? I can’t wait to see the images with Thor’s helmet. Keep it up Marvel!
the fabric choices are terrible except for the scales on the arms.
This is not the actual costume. Everything in this image is artwork except the head and the hands.
Thor’s costume should be more ornate, afterall he is a royal God. It should be a combination of gold and silver colored mythological metals and leather/animal hides. The original disks on Thor’s costume could have remained as golden metal shields that would protect against piercing weapons. These are common features in one shape or another on many types of armor. I LOVE the use of the mjolnir symbol on Thor’s belt in Avengers: Earth’ Mightiest Heroes version of the costume. Thor has always been an imposing character of magnificent stature. There must be another human being that could’ve played and looked the part. (True, but he probably doesn’t have an agent.)
