Love Is Blind’s Shayne Jansen and Too Hot To Handle/The Circle’s Chloe Veitch were among the most unexpected yet explosive couples on Perfect Match. Shayne bounced his way through lukewarm matches in the early episodes, pairing with The Circle: France’s Ines Tazi and THTH’s Izzy Fairthorne, but ultimately, sparks flew when he and Chloe matched together. Chloe’s vibrant and sunny personality perfectly matched Shayne’s signature goofiness, and the sexual tension was palpable between these two reality TV stars. Now that all episodes have aired, stars, including Chloe and Shayne, are revealing whether they are still together.
While enduring the roller coaster ride of Perfect Match season 1 and crashing into the finale, Chloe and Shayne experienced some drama on the show regarding their relationship. Despite hitting it off immediately, Chloe was sent on a date with her ex-boyfriend, The Circle’s Mitchell Eason. Shayne and Mitchell proceeded to argue over Chloe, and it seemed the two had unfinished business, as Chloe tearily ditched Shayne to try and make amends with Mitchell. However, after revealing that he wasn’t ready for a relationship and didn’t want kids for another 15 years, Chloe realized that over a decade of celibacy wouldn’t be an option for her. She sent herself on a date with Shayne and rekindled their love just days before the finale.
Chloe & Shayne Call It Quits After Perfect Match
Unfortunately, Chloe and Shayne have confirmed they are no longer together after Perfect Match. In a Netflix YouTube video released on March 2, Chloe and Shayne expressed that they went their separate ways after filming wrapped. The most obvious hurdle was distance: Chloe lives in the UK, while Shayne resides in Chicago. Additionally, Shayne expressed stress in wrapping up his “other show,” which alludes to his Love Is Blind: After The Altar episodes. His serious tone was mismatched with his messy pigtails and baseball cap, whereas Chloe’s polished appearance was met with her casual and silly personality. Despite their differences in manner, there appears to be no malice between the two.
Chloe Teases New Boyfriend On Instagram
According to the Netflix clip, Chloe keeps her dating life “private and sweet,” but she has been posting hints of a new beau on her Instagram page. After the final Perfect Match episodes aired on February 28, she posted herself happily gazing into a mystery man’s eyes at Disneyland with the vague caption, “<HIM ‘drench yourself in love’ blue heart emoji.” Too Hot To Handle's Francesca Farago, the villain of Perfect Match, commented, “WE NEED A BOYFRIEND REVEAL heart emoji.” Fans seem to agree, with hundreds flooding the comments. For her part, Chloe responded to Francesca with a series of winky face and sobbing face emojis.
Shayne Is Still Tangled Up With His Love Is Blind Ex Natalie
Shayne presented himself as quite serious and straightforward in the clip, likely due to the drama surrounding his application for Perfect Match. Natalie Lee, who left Shayne at the altar in Love Is Blind, alleged that she and Shayne were each approached to apply for Perfect Match while still dating in September 2021. Shayne went through the process for casting, and although Natalie and Shayne broke up, they started talking again in early 2022 after filming Love Is Blind: After The Altar. Natalie alleged that Shayne texted her during the filming of Perfect Match and even tried to meet up after filming wrapped.
Although sparks flew between Chloe and Shayne during their time together on Perfect Match, Chloe’s fun-loving, light personality, along with Shayne's baggage, it’s not suprising the two decided to call it quits. Regardless, they appear cordial on social media and bear no malice toward each other. The two would have made a dynamic and exciting pair if life could be reserved only for a villa. Unfortunately, their spark couldn’t survive the harsh realities of life off-screen.
