It's down to the wire for the 2011-2012 hopefuls, and ABC has made its decision on a whopping twelve series.

It's not all good news though, as long-running drama Brothers & Sisters and sci-fi reboot V got the axe.

Confirmed New Series

Charlie's Angels: ABC is rebooting the 70s chop-socky favorite with a new trio of beauties: Minka Kelly, Rachael Taylor and Annie Ilonzeh. Original Angels producer Leonard Goldberg is returning with Drew Barrymore (who starred in both movie adaptations) in tow.

Pan Am: Yet another 1960s period piece, this one will focus on the iconic airline's pilots and stewardesses. This one's been in the works for some time, with Jonah Lotan (Generation Kill) and Christiana Ricci (Black Snake Moan) taking the leads.

Once Upon A Time: This drama takes place in Storybrook, Maine, where fantasies like Snow White may or may not be real. The fish out of water lead is played by former House regular Jennifer Morrison. Look for a lot of comparisons to NBC's Grimm, which has also been picked up.

The River: An adventure series set on the Amazon river. A group of friends including Eloise Mumford (Lone Star) and Joe Anderson (Breaking Dawn) seek a famous television personality in South America. The River comes from Paranormal Activity director Oren Peli.

Revenge: A modern re-imagining of The Count of Monte Cristo set in the Hamptons. Emily VanCamp (of Brothers & Sisters, see below) plays a female version of Edmond Dantes, hunting down the New York elite who wronged her. Mike Kelley (Jericho, Swingtown) will write.

Good Christian Belles: This one started off with a far less savory title, and will center on a reformed "mean girl" (Leslie Bibb, Talladega Nights) who returns to her small town roots. Sex And The City and 90210 producer Darren Starr is taking the reins.

Apt. 23: Another series with a less family-friendly former title. Krysten Ritter (Confessions of a Shopaholic) plays a "party girl" who the other players (including Dawson's Creek heartthrob James Van Der Beek) must tolerate.

Scandal: The latest project from Shonda Rhimes, who's had previous ABC success with Grey's Anatomy. Kerry Washington (For Colored Girls) will star as a professional crisis manager who specializes in managing the media.

Work It: A project from Andrew Reich and Ted Cohen about a pair of unemployed jocks who turn to cross-dressing to land jobs as pharmaceutical reps.

Last Man Standing: A new comedy project from Home Improvement front-man Tim Allen. His character struggles to maintain his values in the modern world.

Man Up: A sitcom starring three twenty-somethings learning to grow up. Chris Moynihan, Mather Zickel and Dan Fogler will play the would-be manly trio.

Suburgatory: ABC's newest single-camera comedy comes from Parks & Recreation co-producer Emily Kapnek. The premise is a fish-out-of-water New York girl struggling in the suburbs.

Cancelled Series

ABC's "V"

V: The latest reincarnation of the classic sci-fi series has been left floating. Disappointing ratings and a lukewarm critical reception have plagued V for the better part of a year.

Brothers & Sisters: A five-year veteran ABC drama has had its final curtain call. The prime-time soap opera had over 100 episodes and finished up its final one just last week.

No Ordinary Family: Yet another superhero show bites the dust. After a promising start, ratings and interest sagged as the show fell into a rut circling both family drama and super-powered cliches.

Off The Map: A medical drama from Desperate Housewives veteran Jenna Bans set in remote South America. 2010-2011 was the series' freshman season.

Mr. Sunshine: Former Friends resident Matthew Perry starred in and produced this single-camera comedy about an arena manager.

Better With You: A rom-com starring Joanna Garcia Swisher (Reba) and soap opera veteran Jennifer Finnigan. Better With You lasted one season.

Abandoned Pilots

ABC leaves promising projects like literary whodunit Poe and Marc Cherry's (Desperate Housewives) Hallelujah. Other projects left behind include Bad Mom, Grace, Georgetown, Identity, Lost & Found, My Freakin' Family, Other People's Kids, and Partners.
