Serious New Character Posters For Harry Potter 6

A bunch of new character posters for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince have been released and we selected some of the best ones for you to check out.
Remembering when the first Harry Potter movie came out, nearly eight (8!) years ago, and looking at these posters now really gives some perspective on how much the actors (and characters) have aged through their years in life and in the school of Hogwarts.
Among some of the new posters we have Draco Malfoy, the younger teenage Tom Riddle/Lord Voldemort and Ginny Weasley as well as main characters Harry Potter and Hermione Granger.

Bonnie Wright and Tom Felton look really different from the last movie.
Wow, those really are big originals. It’s interesting what you can see in some of them… O.o
I wonder why half of them are of Emma Watson (not that I’m complaining), with no Rupert Grint though.

I agree, they’ve shown the most aging – Felton looks quite a bit older than the others

I think Tom Riddle was picked quiet poorly. The original Christian Coulson was a much better fit. I personally cannot see this kid trying to charm any of the teachers and Hepzibah Smith.
The original Christian Culson is SOOOO MUCH BETTER!!! the new riddle is ugly… not really the hansom young riddle. Huh!
Why’d they go and change Tom Riddle’s image? He’s repulsive enough as an adult. Its a shame Christian Coulson’s too old. But really, they could have picked better. Lets hope 18 year old Tom doesn’t have the same goofy haircut and attire.
I really like the new tom riddle, I didn’t know they had got two different boys to play him at 11 and older. I thought they were the same.
I think Malfoy look really creepy looking now, perfect for the sad turn his going to take.
Malfoy looks really wierd and scary here. I guess it works for how he’ll be portrayed in the movie. Tom looks different than I would imagine, but I can still see how he could trick people into thinking he’s charming and he’s still kind of handsome. Emma always looks pretty. Bonnie looks good, and so does Daniel.

I can’t belive such proffecional movie makers made such miscalculation picking Tom Riddle actor.
I think old Tom Riddle would fit perfectly.

the young/teenage tom riddle gives out a handsome vibe in the book… and this frank kid isn’t really living up to that…

Harry Potter still looks like a little boy! When are they going to let Harry grow up and lose the lame hair cut? Daniel Radcliff is HOT, sooooo what the hell happened?
Same with Draco. His ‘father’ is gorgeous and poor Draco gets stuck with the awful haircut as well.

I think anyone whos saying tom riddle is a bad casting is being a bit dumb. He definately looks the part! As for the haircut comment… he went to hogwarts in like 1937-1944 or summin like that. What do you expect, an emo fringe? I dont know how youre judging his acting and how hes going to portray riddle on his photograph… But personally i think he does look the part, and if you can portray cunning, suave, mischievous, charming, sly and SLYTHERIN in a photograph perfectly then go ahead. And tbh Voldemort wasnt that much different to Hitler. He kinda was a mini Hitler.
Oh yeah and as for the person asking “What happened to the kid in the Second Hp movie?” Well hes kinda 30 years old now… thats what happened.
I,personally, think that the choosing of Frank Dillane was magnificent! I don’t think a 30 year old guy would be pretty charming, but Frank’s acting was really good and I enjoyed seeing both of the memories he was in in the movie. He was very charming, sly and mischevious looking. He had the perfect voice, too. I loved it! The movie was great.
I thought Frank Dillane was perfect as a young Tom Riddle. He was equally charming and beautiful and terrifying. I think he was a better Riddle than Christian Coulson.
Is he wearing contacts or what? I think i saw some pictures that show that his eyes are brown.
